"This project was announced to be released a year ago. After many attempts of editting I figured I just couldn’t get it to feel right. So I had to drop it for a while to avoid further dissappointment. Now, looking back, I think I deeply struggled with my own belief. That might have been the reason why it was hard for me to be confronted with this image of praising God so devotedly.
Today, as time has passed, my perspective changed. I can now see the strength in my mother, my sister, my best friend, her mother and boyfriend surrounding me as we stand united in prayer. I can feel the atmosphere change as we cry out and confess that we need God’s presence, guidance and strength in our lives. More than ever.
Prayer lifts the cloud of darkness and brings joy to my heart. Even though I sometimes tend to forget that, deep down I’ll always know where to find the source of my inner peace. I wanted to share this part of my story as well as honour God and my family for they continuously show me what unwavering faith looks like. Thank you.
